I love sandwiches! They are great food and continue to be my favourite fuss-free lunch fix. However, if you are using the sandwich technique for feedback – I would recommend you stop. It’s ineffective and can do more damage than good.

He was one of the more experienced leaders participating in a group coaching session on feedback. I had asked the group whether they agreed that a leader must never avoid giving corrective feedback to their team members.
He was the only one to disagree. “I’ve learnt to not give feedback when I’m angry – it just doesn’t work out. I find it better to wait until I am calmer“, Chandra continued.
