Coaching Philosophy and Process

Every client is unique. There are no standard solutions and cookie-cutter approaches do not work. However, we find it immensely useful to ground our coaching in certain principles. We follow a process that provides structure and momentum, and is yet flexible enough to meet your unique challenges and needs.

Here, Achievement means achieving the specific goals that you seek, Learning refers to drawing insights and applying elsewhere and Living refers to enjoying the journey as much as the destination.

​We mostly work with clients in 12 week cycles, following a process that supports us with structure and provides us the momentum to progress steadily towards the client's goals. The Coach ALL process has six steps - Connect, Clarify, Check, Co-create, Close and Confirm.

​Investment

Time

The most common question potential clients ask/apprehension they have, is whether they can find time in their busy schedules to work with me. It's a fair question, since the biggest investment that you will make in our coaching engagements is that of your time, energy and attention. 

However, the reality is that our approach and process is designed to be time efficient and respect your busy schedule :

  • ​For most clients, our one-on-one discussions and follow-up takes, on average  between 45 minutes to an hour every week
  • Outside of the face to face time and modest follow-up activities above, much of what you do is part of your day to day work - so does not require any additional time
  • As part of our engagement, you and the coach will  look at your current work activities and find opportunities to eliminate, automate or delegate those tasks that are not the best use of your time, energy and attention. Most of our clients report freeing up at least 5 hours per week as a result of this - and the ones who start most overwhelmed free up even more time!
  • Even accounting for time spent on the new activities/skills that are not part of their day to day work, most people end up saving more time than they need to spend! 

​All of the above makes us confidently say to you - our coaching engagement will be time efficient and not pose an additional burden on your already busy schedule!

​Money

We most commonly work with individual clients in 12 week engagements. A 12 week engagement is usually enough to comprehensively address 1 significant growth area. Our fees for a 12 week engagement for individual (self-paying) clients for virtual coaching via Skype/phone range from INR 36000/- to Rs 150,000/- depending on the customised coaching plan. 

Every engagement (typically 12 weeks) starts off with a Connect Session (between 45 - 60 minutes). At the end of the Connect Session, we will be able to provide you with a coaching plan that is customised to your requirements and give you a firm quote for our engagement fees. 

In some cases, our engagement may benefit from your undergoing specific assessments - for example psychometric assessments such as MBTI/DISC etc, leadership competence assessments (self assessed or 360). We will be open about any affiliate arrangements, and leave it to you to decide whether to purchase these directly or via my affiliate contract.

Very rarely, we may recommend you work with a specialist consultant/trainer for specific skills ( eg voice training for public speaking, media handling for Senior Executives). We might make a recommendation based on previous experience/knowledge - but the decision on whether/who will solely be yours.

Coaching is a co-creative and partnering relationship between you and the coach - however you and you alone own the outcomes. While we have a role to play and a contribution to make, it would be inappropriate for us to claim credit for your success or responsibility for lack thereof. 

However, to instill confidence (especially if you are new to coaching) and to keep ourselves honest ( not accept coaching engagements where we are not sure we can add value ), we offer the following guarantee
